Consulting (Jadresic y Consultores Asociados Ltda.) is a Chilean firm
that provides consulting services in economics, engineering and management
to companies, governments and international organizations. It specializes
in economic regulation, strategic management, cost benefit analysis,
public policy design and institutional reform. It relies on professional
excellence to assist clients on decision making, based on a multidisciplinary
network of experts on managerial, governmental and academic matters.
Jadresic Consulting specializes on projects that deal with competitive markets, regulated industries and/or sectors with social or political constraints. It has a rich experience on energy, telecommunications, water supply, sanitation, transport infrastructure, mining, information technologies, government and other economic sectors. The company is headed by Alejandro Jadresic, who created it on 1998, following a career in government, academics and the private sector. He served as Minister President of the National Energy Commission, President of the Central Preventive (antitrust) Commission, Head of Trade and Industrial Policy of the Ministry of the Economy, Professor of the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Chile, member of the board of incorporated companies and private consultant. Mr. Jadresic is an Industrial Engineer graduated at the University of Chile and holds a Ph.D. degree on Economics at Harvard University. The professional experience of the firm and its executive director covers many countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, China, Ecuador, India, Italia, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama, Peru, the Phillipines, Spain, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Tanzania, United States and Zimbabwe. |
